Received the B.S. degree in biomedical engineering and systems from El-Shorouk Academy, Cairo, Egypt, in 2010, the M.S. degree in biomedical engineering and systems from Cairo University, Cairo, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Kyung Hee University, Yongin, South Korea, in 2020.
She was a Service Engineer in the dental field with Biomid Company, Cairo, from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2016, she was a Senior Biomedical Engineer in the life science and immunology field with Delta Trading and Development Company, Ltd., Cairo. During her work with Delta Trading and Development Company, Ltd., she received extensive training in life science and immunology technologies from Euroimmun Company, Lübeck, Germany, in 2013, and Promega Corporation, Mannheim, Germany, in 2015. From 2020 to 2021, she was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, where she is currently a Research Professor. Her research interests include the applications of RF/microwave technology in medicine, electromagnetic theories, sensors and antennas designs, radio frequency circuits, and wireless power transmission.
Dr. Hassan received the Best Paper Award (an honorable mention) in the IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation (APCAP), Auckland, New Zealand, in 2018. She is an Active Reviewer of the IEEE SENSORS JOURNAL and the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ANTENNAS AND PROPAGATION.
